Loyd is a father of four children, two boys and two girls. He grew up locally in the Sacramento area and attended John F Kennedy High School and then Sacramento State College. He enjoys hiking, water sports, coaching football and soccer for his children and helping the youth at his church during his free time. His family just recently added a new family member, a French Bulldog named Alfie who his family adores.
